D03 Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk

I am used to building IKEA furniture so I found the instructions a bit confusing. It took quite awhile to get my head around them however once I did, it was very easy to build and, despite the screws being pictured as much smaller than they were, as long as I went off the descriptions I was okay. Assembled, the desk looks quite good and the up-and-down feature is great. It goes really high and the movement is very fluid easy.

The desk comes well packaged with everything you need to assemble it including a couple of allen key spanners, but using an Allen key screwdriver bit is much faster if you have one.The package is quite heavy so it's not easy to move around by yourself.Assembly is fairly straight forward although the instructions could be better as they are just illustrations with no explanations, also it is a good idea to have a second pair of hands to help hold bits during assembly.Once assembled and in the correct location the desk needs to be plugged into the mains, the lead on the supplied mains adaptor is not vey long so if you are not near to a socket it will need an extension lead.The desktop has a nice finish to it with smooth rounded corners and a textured surface, however is it not very deep, being only 70cm deep, the desk it replaced was 80cm which seems to be a more standard depth.There is a 5cm tall bar underneath the desk all the way down the middle, this is part of the mechanism, but limits the height of items under the desk, and longer legs may bump knees.The mechanism for changing the height is very smooth and quiet however there is a delay when pressing the up or down buttons and you can't just single click the buttons to change the hight in increments, this means getting an exact height takes a lot of trial and error, however once to you have the desk at the required height you can store this on one of the four pre-sets.Overall a very nice desk that looks classy but the…

very well designed and quite easily assembled sit to stand desk.The instructions are easy to follow when putting it together, I do suggest that two people do it as it's slightly easier to move with two of you.once assembled the desk is very sturdy, even though it is only centrally mounted with a bar that goes most of the length underneath it then two brackets running horizontally. But still fairly sturdy, easily fits two monitors on and depending on layout maybe even 3, so ideal desk for gaming, design etc.Could also be really good for a drawing surface, especially as you can adjust the height. The pictures with standing next to it, is at its full height. I'm 6ft so you get some idea of full height. Brilliant if you have back problems and find sitting down all the time uncomfortable.There are 4 built in levels and by looks of things you can create your own settings with it, although we haven't yet.My only complaint is that the feet are so close to the end that you have to put anything like the PC or draws on the outside of the legs, unless you want no leg room undertake desk. SO would suggest if you have draws etc that you wish to use with this desk that you make sure you size the space to include the desk and the added dimensions of anything you want to use with it.Great value for such a sturdy desk,
